1 What's citycita.org is about?

Citycita was founded on the belief that there is a growing need for communities who share the same interests to find a local base for their activities. Our service allows like-minded people worldwide to create or join local groups based on their topic of choice and then to get together regularly in person. There are already thousands of local groups created for thousands of interests.
Ex: French speakers…
Political supporters…
Yoga buffs…
Chihuahua lovers…
Mums at home…

You can also create your own group on whatever topic.
We give people the power to change something, meet the people ! and change something!

2 How &when people meet face to face?

Groups usually get together at least once a month, as scheduled by the organizer. The organizer is the the most important person for a group as it is his responsibility to organize events - be they face-to-face gatherings, parties or meetings - for his group.
Group events can be formal or informal and can be arranged in public places like restaurants, cafés, or public parks or in private spaces such as homes or offices. We recommend that organizers arrive early at their events to welcome members and and have signs displayed so that members them easily.
